Come to a “Walk on the Avenue” April 19th. Small groups will identify (and photograph) things they like about the Avenue and things the don't like about the Avenue. Everyone who works, lives or owns property in Seward is invited.

About Franklin Avenue Planning
Early in 2006, the Riverside Market Task Force formed to discuss the redevelopment of the former Riverside Market. The group composed of residents, property owners, and businesspeople explored options for this site and offered their recommendations. One of the five recommendations was to complete a comprehensive plan for the entire Franklin Avenue corridor, from the river to the train.
In 2007, Redesign and SNG were awarded a grant through the City of Minneapolis' Great Streets Program to implement the planning. Here is the time line for the project.
